Growing up, I was involved in anything musical I could: choirs, concert & jazz band, the orchestra for our high school production of the Wizard of Oz. I almost always have music playing, and am often singing along, playing with harmonies along the way. When I moved to Saskatoon, I knew that I wanted to join a choir, and found Joy of Vox. BJ is so welcoming, and having both he and Penny composing and arranging for us an amazing asset for the choir.
I've made lots of new friends, and am still energized whenever the choir gets together to sing, whether it's a practice, one of our small shows, or at the big Christmas or Spring shows. Having the opportunity to make music with so many other people is a privilege, and I am already looking forward to next season's tunes, to see what we'll be learning and sharing with an audience next!
